Hi, I'm Simon, aka rumcake.

I've been producing for years. Late nights twiddling a knob for the sweet spot and whole weekends lost to partying. I have tunes published on the major platforms but I'm yet to make a penny. So, I thought I'd use my creative skills to self-build interesting sound generating tools.

CymaticPlate is the first result: a physically simulated plate you can strike, bow with audio, and watch. Real cymatics, sand finding the nodal lines, the same physics you'd get bolting a steel sheet to a frame and hitting it. Hammer time. I wanted something that sounds natural that you can tweak to taste.

I am a team of one. When you email contact@rumcakerecords.com it's me who answers. When you buy a plugin, you're funding the next late night, and contributing to a hopeful move to Ibiza.
